VinFast VF 8, VF 9 launched in the Netherlands


The electric car duo VinFast was first introduced to the Dutch market at the EV Experience 2022 exhibition, which took place from September 23-25.

VinFast VF 8 and VF 9 will have their first debut in front of customers in the Netherlands, demonstrating smart connected technologies such as in-vehicle processing, shopping and entertainment integration. Users here can directly admire the Vietnamese electric car model, experience driver assistance features. VinFast is expected to offer special offers for this market at the event.

This year's EV Experience brings together many of Europe's leading manufacturers, traders and suppliers of charging stations. The exhibition, taking place at the famous F1 Circuit Zandvoort racetrack, is expected to attract more than 100 businesses in the field and more than 7,500 visitors.

Ho Thanh Huong, General Director of VinFast in Europe, said that the Netherlands is one of the company's three key markets, the most developed electric vehicle trend in the region. "The Dutch people are open-minded and care about the environment and smart electric vehicles," said Ms. Thanh Huong. "VinFast wants its electric car models to become the first choice for people, contributing to the ongoing electrification trend."


The design of VF 8 carries the typical identity of VinFast.

In the Netherlands, VF 8 will have 2 versions, Eco and Plus, two battery options of 82 kWh or 87.7 kWh. VF 9 has 2 similar versions, 95 kWh and 123 kWh battery options. VinFast will apply a 10-year warranty policy. In addition to the battery rental program, the Vietnamese car company will apply the option of selling batteries with the vehicle, in order to meet the diverse needs of users.

Before this event, VinFast announced its plan to open more than 50 VinFast stores in Europe from now until the end of 2023. In which, the first stores in the Netherlands are expected to open from the end of this year, located in 3 cities. large Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag.

Currently, VinFast has delivered the first 100 VF 8 cars to Vietnamese customers. As planned, about 5,000 VF 8 units will be shipped to the US, Canada and Europe in November, expected to be delivered to customers in December.
